
Milan Jakubek received the Award of the Governor of the Central Bohemia Region.
Doc. Ing. Milan Jakubek, Ph.D., Head of the Laboratory of Medicinal Chemistry and Head of 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in the BIOCEV received on Tuesday 25 March in the theatre in Kolín the Award of the Governor of the Central Bohemia Region for the year 2024 in the category Science and Research. The award goes to people whose activity, act or work is something extraordinary. Personalities are nominated by the public, and the winners in each category are decided by a jury composed of representatives of the region and experts. In the current year, the jury chose from 46 valid nominations.
"This is a significant award for me and I appreciate it very much. I would especially like to thank the 1st Faculty of Medicine at the BIOCEV Centre and my colleagues, without whom I would not have achieved this success," says Milan Jakubek, this year's winner of the Governor's Award in the Science and Research category.
