EMBO Lab Leadership Courses
On 9 and 10 April, BIOCEV hosted the Lab Leadership Courses series provided by the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and its affiliated organization EMBO Solutions. The courses focused on scientific communication and presentation and publication skills (Communicating research course) and on good scientific and publication practices (Scientific integrity course). The courses were attended by 20 Ph.D. students and postdocs from almost all BIOCEV partner institutions.
Lab Leadership courses have traditionally been of high quality and have been highly rated by participants for a long time. They were brought to BIOCEV thanks to the Increasing participation programme project announced by EMBO for some countries, including the Czech Republic, and thanks to the initiative of Prof. Zdena Palková. Thanks to this, participation in the course was also free of charge. We are glad to have had the opportunity to contribute in this way to the development of the participating budding scientists.
