Doctoral studies at the CLIP Laboratories, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University
An internationally recognized research institute in the field of hemato-oncology is looking for a motivated PhD student to join its team. We focus on research on mechanisms of treatment resistance in leukemias and relapse. We aim to understand the key mechanisms of resistance identify patients less responsive to treatment and propose alternative therapeutic approaches.
What are we investigating?
- How tumor metabolism contributes to treatment resistance
- How mechanisms of metabolic plasticity in cancer cells lead to loss of treatment efficacy
- How to identify patients at higher risk of therapy failure using cell metabolic status
- Effect of metabolic agents in leukemia cells
